Inside Sales Representative (061-14)

Job Summary: 

Highly motivated and confident sales person with the ability to grasp complex product knowledge and application logic; a self-starter with the ability to identify and develop new customer relationships.

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new and existing business accounts
  • Ensure effective communication with the customer or prospect to set appropriate expectations for a qualified solution to their needs
  • Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Follow up and maintain an accurate sales forecast
  • Manage open projects for top accounts through completion
  • Communicate all necessary information gathered during the sales process to the operations team for successful project transition
  • Maintain current and accurate information in the CRM system for all customers and contacts
  • Effectively execute the strategies developed by management

Education and Training:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required


  • Minimum of one year experience in a professional office setting
  • Experience selling products and/or services over the phone highly desirable
  • Experience with 2D or 3D CAD software highly desirable
  • Experience in engineering and manufacturing industries highly desirable    

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required
  • Requires an ambitious and optimistic personality with a “can do” approach to selling in a competitive environment
  • Disciplined work ethic with sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Highly developed problem solving skills with the determination to solve them in a timely manner
