Job Summary: 

Cubify, 3D Systems’ web initiative to make 3D printing easy and accessible to all, is looking for a Graphics Designer to create printed marketing collateral. Products to be represented include all manner of scanners and printers and range from consumer to professional, from hand-held to large industrial equipment, from $1K to $1M. The Print Designer will report the Senior Web Designer and oversee every aspect of the company’s print efforts to ensure a seamless branding experience.

The Cubify team is based in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood in a building filled with state-of-the-art 3D printers, scanners and related technologies, and has a collaborative, creative culture dedicated to changing the world by empowering creativity.

  • Spearhead all Cubify print materials (flyers, posters, banners, brochures etc) and packaging designs
  • Create impactful designs for Cubify packaging. Update existing packaging to reflect new directions
  • Monitor and control consistent packaging experience across the product lines including creative design, layout and copy edits, photography of product, inserts, and in-store displays where necessary; ensure packaging compliance with brand and photography style guides
  • Collaborate with product mangers, designers and marketing to build one cohesive print marketing experience
  • Merge the design, environmental considerations, brand experience and cost-effective practices into every print project
  • Review all production proofs from print suppliers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with packaging suppliers


  • Minimum of 5 years experience, with thorough portfolio available for review

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of print production from start to finish, including knowledge of the print industry
  • Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative, cross-functional team
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and presentation skills necessary to effectively present, explain, negotiate and monitor solutions
  • Strong project management skills to be able to manage many projects at once, identify needs, priorities and schedules
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and drive print solutions across multi-disciplinary groups
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment
