“In view of the time required to complete a year-end audit, we decided to release preliminary information regarding our expected fourth-quarter 2008 operating results,” commented Damon Gregoire, 3D Systems’ vice president and chief financial officer. “Given the current unprecedented economic and business climate, we are pleased with the expected improvement in our operating results and unrestricted cash,” continued Gregoire.

“As we have done in the past, we plan to provide detailed information and analysis of our fourth-quarter and full-year 2008 operating results in the final release covering our 2008 financial results and our Annual Report on Form 10-K,” concluded Gregoire.

While the company believes that the estimates set forth above are reasonable, since it has not yet completed its audit for the fourth-quarter and year ended December 31, 2008, there can be no assurance that the final results that it will report for those periods will be within the ranges set forth above.
