3D Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TDSC), a leading provider of rapid 3-D Printing, Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, announced today that it has sold a second Viper™ Pro SLA® System to Scicon Technologies Corporation of Valencia, California.
Scicon, a 3D Systems’ Preferred Service Provider (PSP), is a prominent rapid prototyping service bureau whose business significantly reduces the cost of product development for its customers.
With its first 3D Systems’ Viper™ Pro SLA® System, Scicon was able to attract more clients and take on more projects from new and existing customers. It was especially pleased with the exceptional surface finish of parts made on the system and the system’s large build capacity that eliminates the need to produce parts in sections. Scicon needed a second Viper™ Pro SLA® system to help meet the high demand for prototypes from its customers in the aerospace, automotive and consumer products industries.
