3D Systems Corp. (Nasdaq:TDSC) announced today that it has named Bob Kayser to the position of Vice President Global Sales, effective January 19, 2004.
Kayser joins 3D Systems after nearly two years at KEMET Electronics (NYSE: KEM), a leading global capacitor manufacturer, initially as Managing Director, Asia Sales and most recently as Vice President, Asia Sales based in Shanghai.
Prior to KEMET, Kayser spent 15 years at Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE: SEE), starting in the US and subsequently in a range of management positions in Europe and Asia. He was the National Sales Manager for Sealed Air's Swedish operations, General Manager for Greater China operations, and eventually Managing Director for the Engineered Products and Specialty Packaging Divisions for Asia-Pacific. Kayser has 13 years of business management and market development experience across Asia, with a strong concentration in Greater China.
Kayser holds a bachelor's degree in history from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the University of Washington in Seattle. He has also attended university in Florence Italy and in Helsinki Finland.
