3D Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: TDSC) announced it has entered into a non-exclusive royalty bearing development and distribution agreement with Dreve, a developer and manufacturer of resins including resins used for the manufacture of hearing aid shells and earmolds.
Marketed under the label Fototec®, Dreve will manufacture and distribute its hearing aid resins along with 3D Systems developed build styles, to customers utilizing the Viper™ SLA® system for instant manufacturing in the hearing aid industry.
3D Systems utilizes proprietary technology in developing and optimizing build styles to balance the attributes of speed, accuracy, mechanical properties and surface finish, among others, to best meet the needs of this unique instant manufacturing application.
