Viper SLA system from 3D Systems
|
“The Viper SLA system was introduced in the Spring of 2001. Since that time we have seen companies push the limits of what can be produced with the Viper SLA system. In’Tech Industries is another example of how innovative designers and manufacturers are using the SLA systems for custom manufacturing,” said Wayne
Merson, business development manager, Hearing Aids. “Injection Molders by trade, adding solid imaging systems to their traditional mold shop manufacturing line, are breaking the mold when it comes to traditional manufacturing methods.”
“We chose the Viper SLA system to become part of our long term strategy. The common factor in all of our products is quality. The Viper SLA system was purchased to advance our tooling design which will allow us to improve our injection molding. The key to producing quality hearing aid components is precise manufacturing with obsessive quality assurance. Each part coming off the In'Tech production line is visually inspected by our quality control department,” said Roger Neilson Jr., Vice President Sales and Marketing.

“Using the Viper SLA system for advanced digital manufacturing (ADMSM) we know that quality now begins at the front-end of our process. We pride ourselves in manufacturing injection mold parts that meet 100% of our customer’s design criteria. Because we provide services to the Hearing Aid industry first time success is critical.”
In addition to providing Hearing Aid manufacturers end-use parts, In’Tech Industries plans to expand its injection molding services to customers requiring high-resolution, detailed injection molded parts created from advanced digital manufacturing processes.
