LS 3.3 software for Build Setup and Sinter Applications

LS 3.3 software is the latest release of the Build Setup and Sinter applications software for use with Sinterstation® 2000/2500/ 2500plus, and Vanguard™ and Vanguard HS systems.

LS 3.3 software delivers 21 new features, 12 enhancements, and dozens of other improvements to deliver increased model quality, ease-of-use, and for added productivity that represents yet another significant example of 3D Systems’ commitment to improving our customers’ bottom line. Refer to “Specifications” for a listing of new features and enhancements found in LS 3.3 software.

Available free of charge to qualifying customers under warranty, or with a current qualifying service plan at the time of software release, LS 3.3 software offers another first for SLS® system customers — Opti-Scale™ and Vanguard Accuracy Module (for use with the Sinterstation 2500plus system) is now included free of charge with the LS 3.3 software.
Customers purchasing the software separately also receive 90 days of free Customer Hotline Support. 

The value doesn’t stop there. Two new software upgrades are available (at extra cost) for LS 3.3 software:

SinterScan™ software upgrade
For use with LS 3.3 software, the SinterScan upgrade implements an advanced scanning strategy to produce DuraForm PA and GF parts with improved part quality and surface finish - particularly on curved surfaces and thin wall geometries. In addition, SinterScan software offers improved "thin-wall" part accuracy and more consistent mechanical properties on the x-y plane.

* Results from Sinterscan software are geometry dependent.

SinterScan software must be purchased separately — however, for a limited time, 3D Systems’ is providing a fully functional, free 30-day trial evaluation version of the SinterScan software. Contact your regional 3D Systems Customer Support Center to obtain this trial license code.

Real Monitor™ software upgrade
Real Monitor and Real Monitor Viewer software are two new data acquisition and monitoring utilities for the Sinter application in LS 3.3 software. Use these complementary utilities to collect and review data about your SLS system before, during, and after a build. Monitor and tune your system. Develop process parameters. Diagnose both system and build problems. Determine process control limits of your system. Real Monitor software logs build data (like Remote Diagnostics), but now the data can be graphically displayed building with Real Monitor software. Later, you can use Real Monitor Viewer to open log files, then select and graphically compare multiple parameters while zooming in or out to the desired level of data detail. Two levels are available — “Basic” level to analyze diagnostic information in real time while the system runs and also view and analyze saved log data. “Advanced” level to capture the data and export it into other statistical packages and Excel spreadsheet software. Advanced level also enables the user to directly link other third-party data analysis software packages to Sinterstation system. Real Monitor software is especially useful if you are using your system for manufacturing applications where process, reliability and variance understanding are critical.
