Wisconsin-based Midwest Prototyping, LLC has upgraded to an iPro™ 9000 Center.

The 3D Systems’ iPro™ 9000 SLA® Center quickly and economically produces durable Accura® plastic parts with:

  • unprecedented surface smoothness and precise ready-to-use parts without post processing,
  • feature resolution,
  • edge definition, and
  • tolerances that rival the accuracy of CNC-machined plastic parts.

Equipped with the new, state-of-the-art SteadyPower™ Imager, the iPro™ 9000 SLA® Center delivers reliable output with faster build speeds and lower part cost.

Midwest Prototyping also offers its customers Selective Laser Sintering (SLS®) services to build parts with 3D Systems’ DuraForm® Materials, the toughest, most stable laser sintering materials in the industry.

With these new additions, Midwest Prototyping now offers a wider technology portfolio to its customers.

Abe Reichental, 3D Systems’ President, and Chief Executive Officer, says:

“This is the classic success story – Steve Grundahl started Midwest Prototyping in 2001 as a one-man operation with a single SLA® 250 System. By continuing to invest in upgrades and new equipment, he has grown his company to be the largest Rapid Prototyping service bureau in Wisconsin with the most modern and reliable equipment.”

Midwest Prototyping is a Rapid Prototyping Company located in Blue Mounds, Wis. and a recent addition to the 3D Systems’ Preferred Parts Service Provider (PSP) program.
