Pearl - unparallelled retention
The Pearl Retention, a tailored surface texture, replaces the pearls that were lost by milling of implant suprastructures. Pearl perfects the mechanical retention between the metal structure and the dental composites. Direct Metal Printing is unique in providing this ideal Pearl retention structure as an integral part of the implant suprastructure.
All bridge suprastructures are made of medical grade 5 high-strength Titanium alloy. This material is significantly stronger than commercially pure Titanium grade 2 which is commonly used in CNC milling.
We can finish your suprastructure with a small ridge following the gingival profile (SealWise) to ensure perfect enclosure of the composite material and to eliminate the risk of chipping.

A design proposal is normally sent within 48 hours after receipt of the model by 3D Systems.
Shipment of structure
The structure is shipped the 3rd day after receipt of the design file or the approval of the design proposal if these arrive before 2pm. Otherwise one additional day should be taken into account.
