Rock Hill, South CarolinaJune 18, 2012 - 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE: DDD) announced today that the underwriters for its recently announced public offering have exercised their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 451,000 shares of 3D Systems Corporation common stock. As a result, the company will issue a total of 4,151,000 shares in the offering and expects to receive net proceeds, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses payable by the company, of approximately $106.8 million.  The offering is expected to close on June 19, 2012, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. 

 

Needham & Company, LLC acted as the sole book-running manager of the offering.  Canaccord Genuity Inc. acted as co-lead manager, and Maxim Group LLC and Axiom Capital Management, Inc. acted as co-managers.

 

3D Systems intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to finance future acquisitions of other entities or their assets and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
