Sunnyvale, CA - Nov 26, 2007, INUS Technology, Inc., the developer of Rapidform® 3D scanning software, announced that the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) has awarded the company the top honor in the prestigious Korea Software Award competition. The Presidential Prize will be presented to Dr. Simon (Seockhoon) Bae, CEO & founder of INUS Technology, at an awards ceremony held in conjunction with the Ministry's SOFTEXPO & Digital Contents Fair 2007.

INUS Technology has won the Presidential Prize for its Rapidform XOR™/Redesign software, which is the only software capable of generating parametric CAD models from 3D scan data. The panel of judges from education, industry and government selected XOR as the best software for 2007 from a field of competitors that included Korea's leading technology companies. Key aspects of XOR that lead to the Presidential Prize included: global leader in its market, only one of its kind in Korea, unrivaled parametric capability, advanced automated functions and sophisticated algorithms for determining original design intent.

Dr. Simon Bae stated, "A rigorous selection process determined which products met the criteria to be named 2007's best software made in Korea. The selection committee analyzed both the economic success and the technological importance of all technologies submitted for consideration. Thus, we are very honored to be chosen as the best software and company among a number of competitive Korean software products."

At the awards ceremony, Young-hwan Yoo, minister of MIC, will present the Presidential Prize to INUS Technology on behalf of President Moo-hyun Roh. Minister Yoo will also deliver a congratulatory address to the prize winners of the Software Award 2007.

According to Dr. Bae, "Korea has rapidly become one of the world's most technologically advanced nations, and companies around the world now recognize Korea as a hub for technological advancement. I am so pleased that the work done by INUS Technology has greatly contributed to this environment. From that point of view, it is really meaningful to us to be the number one Korean software product and company, and I believe we could not be what we are without all of INUS Technology employees' efforts and passion." With this commitment and devotion, Dr. Bae concluded, "We will continue to make our mark in the global 3D scanning market and its technological arenas."

Rapidform XOR/Redesign will be on display at the SOFTEXPO & Digital Contents Fair 2007, which runs from November 29th to December 1st at COEX in Seoul, Korea.
