BURLINGTON, Mass., USA - Z Corporation will detail best practices for prototyping and architectural modeling, as well as expose hidden trends, at North America's largest annual rapid manufacturing conference and exposition, RAPID 2009.
Z Corporation is exclusive sponsor of the opening keynote and the event's first-ever architecture track.

RAPID 2009 is North America's largest annual rapid and additive manufacturing conference and exposition. The RAPID 2009 Conference & Exposition takes place May 12 - May 14 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Tuesday, May 12 at 8 a.m.: The opening keynote features Discovery Channel's Mike North, PhD, host of the "Prototype This!" series, detailing the challenges of creating spectacular, one-of-a-kind machines at breakneck speeds for the show. North will showcase complex multicolor parts produced by Z Corporation 3D printers, the industry's fastest 3D printers and only ones capable of simultaneously printing in multiple colors.

Thursday, May 14, at noon: Z Corporation's presentation in the new architecture track is titled "The New Face of Architectural Modeling: How Architects are Using 3D Printing Today." It will detail the emergence of 3D printing as a standard architecture technology and will feature real-life stories of Z Corporation customers improving the quality, execution and profitability of their work. The presenter is Olimpio DeMarco, director of channel program and business development for Z Corporation.

Throughout RAPID 2009, Z Corporation will exhibit in booth 423 with demonstrations of multicolor 3D printing, scanning and stunning ZPrinted parts.
