Scansystems has licensed Rapidform.dll™, provided by INUS Technology, to add sophisticated 3D point handling functions within its 3D data handling applications. Rapidform.dll supports 3D scan data processing, point cloud handling, and mesh optimization and manual and automated surface generation, all within an integrated framework. Additionally, Scansystems Srl has entered into an OEM agreement with INUS Technology to supply the Rapidform XO products (XOS, XOR, XOV) to improve the utility of the ScanProbe scanner series, and offer Scansystems' customers both 3G modeling (i.e. native CAD models directly from scan data) from XOR, and CAD friendly Inspection capabilities from XOV.
