BURLINGTON, Mass., USA - Z Corporation will demonstrate a wide range of 3D printing and 3D laser scanning technologies at this year's RAPID 2011 Conference & Exposition, showcasing the tools that manufacturers, architects, educators and other innovators are increasingly employing to introduce higher-quality designs and products.
The annual RAPID Conference and Tradeshow is North America's definitive additive manufacturing event. RAPID 2011 takes place May 23 - May 26 at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis, Minn.

Z Corporation, whose technology is also a favorite of architects who need to quickly and cost-effectively create building models, will offer a special workshop at the show primarily for architects and others in the industry. The 3D Printing for AEC Workshop takes place on Thursday, May 26th at 9 a.m. during the Architecture Breakout session. It features Z Corporation customer Charles Overy, president of the LGM architectural visualization firm, and Olimpio Demarco, Z Corporation's director of business development. This session is an AIA approved course and earns 1.5 CEU credits for attending members.
Z Corporation will also participate in the annual RAPID Puzzle Challenge, hand out samples of multicolor 3D printed models, and hold a drawing for a Flip camcorder.
