This year’s Formnext, the leading additive manufacturing event across the globe, was celebrated in Frankfurt, Germany. Key AM companies came together to share innovations and we were pleased to announce a host of new solutions designed to enhance customer success and catalyze industries.. During the event, our team of experts shared these new innovations along with unique advancements in additive manufacturing, demonstrating how we enable customer success in automotive and motorsports, semiconductor capital equipment, aerospace, medical device manufacturing, dental, bioprinting, and many more where expert consulting and tailored solutions for the most challenging applications are required. Check out the highlights:
Advancing Production Applications with New AM Solutions
During the event we had the opportunity to showcase our newest solutions.
- Our newest Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) solution: High-throughput SLS 380 & partnership with AMT’s PostPro® for post-processing
- Three new Direct Metal Printing (DMP) solutions: New dual laser DMP Flex 350 Dual, DMP Factory 350 Dual, and our DMP Flex 200 printer optimized with a larger build plate & enhanced laser delivering industry-leading surface finish, outstanding accuracy & repeatability
- New software solutions: 3DXpert 17 available to the entire AM industry through Oqton with new features to accelerate part design for production workflows with higher yield and faster print times
- New production-grade material: High-strength, high heat resistant Figure 4® Rigid 140C Black which can help deliver final parts up to 75% faster than other available solutions
Honored Achievements
This year, 3D Systems had the honor to receive two 3D Printing Industry Awards. First, the Innovation of the Year Award for our bioprinting technology Print to Perfusion. 3D Systems’ VP, Regulatory and Portfolio, Benjamin Johnson spoke with 3D Printing Industry’s Editor in Chief, Michael Petch during Formnext - Where ideas take shape sharing details of how our Print to Perfusion process enables 3D printing of high-resolution scaffolds, which can be perfused with living cells to create tissues.
Second, we were honored to receive the Aerospace, Automotive, Energy Application of the Year Award. 3D Systems, VP Aerospace & Defense Segment, Dr. Mike Shepard spoke with Michael regarding the award for which 3D Systems was honored for the first validated RF filter for commercial telecom satellites produced by Airbus using 3D Systems’ DMP technology.
Solutions Driving Innovation in Industrial and Healthcare Applications
