Thomas Verelst, Application Engineer, 3D SystemsThomas_2

Ir. Thomas Verelst graduated in 2016 at the KULeuven with a Master of Nanotechnology, Nanoscience and Nano-Engineering, and a specialization in Nanomaterials and Nanochemistry. Focused on the Semiconductor industry, he started at 3D Systems Leuven (formerly known as Layerwise) as an Application Engineer within the Application Innovation Group (AIG). 4 years in, his projects primarily cover the development of new metal additive manufacturing (AM) designs and the AM industrialization to series production in a QMS environment. As a member of the AIG, he continues to provide clients with the necessary design for AM and AM process flow expertise, which benefits the customer's application performance and/or supply chain costs along with the advantages of additive manufacturing.

Antonio is a Senior researcher and project leader at the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic He is also a Physics and professor of Subatomic Physics at the University of Groningen.
