Meet our Speaker
Thomas McDonagh
Applications Engineer
Thomas McDonagh is a recent hire at Allevi coming from academia with a wealth of knowledge and experience in 3D printing for personalized medicine and holding a MEng in Bioengineering. Prior to joining Allevi at the start of 2023 Thomas worked as a research associate in the advanced drug delivery group in the Pharmacy department at the University of East Anglia. There he ran a number of research projects aimed at exploring the key quality attributes of 3D printing technologies for manufacturing pharmaceuticals and medical devices and the future steps required to bring the technology into clinical settings at the point of care. He has published a number of research articles and book chapters in the field with a focus on personalized tablet 3D printing and looks forward to bringing this expertise into a commercial setting with Allevi.
