Our bioengineer Aidan Zerdoum discusses how to approach alginate pre-crosslinking for traditional bioprinting, as well as alginate filament and FRESH support bioprinting. This presentation includes a demonstration of how to use our coaxial nozzle to create hollow tubes and core-shell structures. All these techniques can be used for applications such as tissue engineering, vascularization, bioink development, and drug delivery.

About our Speaker

Aidan Zerdoum is a Bioengineer at Allevi by 3D Systems with 10 years of experience in the development and analysis of hydrogel-based cell/gel constructs. As a part of the Applications team, he leads bioprinting protocol development, carries out product testing, and directs collaborative efforts in academia.
