End-Use Manufacturing Ready
The Atlas isn't just for prototyping. Create large, high performance parts, on-demand, that are ready for your manufacturing production floor.
Purpose Built. Production Ready.
The Atlas is a proven production additive manufacturing system for applications including patterns, molds, tooling, jigs, fixtures, end-use parts, and full scale prototypes. Designed for lights-out manufacturing, the Atlas helps to shorten cycle times, reduce costs, and increase up-time in your production processes.
The Atlas features an industrial CNC control system with servo drives on all axes for increased speed and reliability. Built with a welded steel frame and industrial heated enclosure, the Atlas is ready for the production floor to produce functional, high-performance parts.
Large format 3D printing has helped us speed up the manufacturing process of our products, due to the confidence we have for the Atlas to work 24/7 without the need for special care during printing.—Alonso Alavarez, CEO, PSSI
Pellet Extrusion on the Atlas
3D print with high temperature materials including CF-PEI, GF-PEKK, and GF-PC on the Atlas with Titan’s pellet extrusion system and industrial heated enclosure. Direct pellet-fed 3D printing enables the use of a wide range of materials, while reducing material cost by up to 10X and with deposition rates up to 10X higher than filament 3D printing.
Hybrid Pellet + Filament Extrusion
The Atlas with hybrid pellet + filament extrusion system provides the ultimate flexibility in choosing the right extrusion technique for your application. For large parts that need to be printed quickly, select pellet extrusion for high-deposition rates. For parts that require high surface resolution and fine details, filament extrusion is the preferred method. Hybrid printing also enables printing with dual materials, such as soluble support material and high-performance model material.
Atlas with Pellet Extrusion Enables Serial Production: 3D Printing PPE
- 90% reduction in cost per par using pellets over traditional filament
- 5 minute production time per part due to optimized design and tool-pathing
- 4,000 face shields 3D printed in 2 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions
The Atlas can support up to three extruders on its gantry. The Atlas is available with one pellet extruder, and up to two filament extruders may be added with the pellet extruder. The Atlas is also available with one or two filament extruders and a “pellet ready” option, meaning a pellet extruder can be added at a later time. Interested in multiple pellet extruders or our milling options? See the Atlas-H for Dual Pellet Extrusion and the Atlas-HS for Additive and Subtractive capabilities.
Yes, you can print with a pellet extruder and up to two filament extruders on the same print to enable printing with multiple materials. For example, printing with a high-performance model material with pellet extrusion and then a water soluble support material out of filament, or printing with a rigid material out of pellets and flexible material out of filament.
No, the Atlas can utilize 100’s of grades of pellet materials and dozens of filament materials from the supplier of your choice. Titan’s experts can recommend the right materials for your application and provide materials already proven on the Atlas systems.
Titan has an extensive network of material partners to help you procure the right pellet materials for your application, including custom formulations. As an authorized distributor for several material companies, pellet materials can be purchased directly from Titan using our customers-only online consumables store.
The Atlas is considered Titan’s standard industrial 3D printer. The main differentiator is the toolhead configurations available on the Atlas. The Atlas is only available with one pellet extruder and up to two filament extruders – it is not compatible with dual pellet extruders (Atlas-H) or with a spindle toolhead (Atlas-HS).
